Briddell Builders has evolved from a tradition of excellence that dates to 1979. In that year, Kent Briddell, operating as Colorado Homes, began building homes of quality and distinction. The company initially specialized in passive solar and energy-efficient homes but expanded in 1989 with a broader focus and a new name: Kent Briddell Homes.

Over the years, the company has grown steadily from building two to three homes a year to designing entire communities.
